The public organization “Smart Maths” was founded in 2019. Smart Maths is based on voluntary participation and brings together researchers from Higher School.
The Organization’s activities are aimed primarily at accumulating advanced pedagogical experience in teaching Mathematics. Thus, according to the Charter, the main goal of Smart Maths is to satisfy the public, including economic, social, cultural, environmental, and other interests of its members, teaching, and student communities; to assist in the realization and protection of rights and freedoms, cooperation and partnership (including international) in the development of mathematical education and culture through the effective implementation of public initiatives.
Presenting their practical experience, Smart Maths members conduct research in several areas, such as project activities, development of electronic educational resources, Mathematics teaching methods, etc.
The results of professional communication and cooperation of Smart Math members are more than 40 scientific studies published in publications included in Scopus and Web of Science databases and domestic peer-reviewed professional journals. The members of the Organization are active participants in international scientific seminars and conferences, in particular, Workshop on Cloud Technologies in Education (CTE), International Conference on Mathematics, Science and Technology Education (ICon-MaSTEd), International Conference on History, Theory and Methodology of Learning (ICHTML).
The plans for the further development of Smart Maths include filling new online Mathematics courses, implementing new research projects, and attracting young scientists and foreign colleagues to participate in the Organization.
